Color Schemes~

I'm not really sure if I did this right but here's what I got. The leaves would be an example of complementary colors. If you wanted to focus on one area of one leaf you could use it as an example of analogous color scheme, but to look at the whole picture you can see the red and green which are opposite each other on the color wheel. The second picture is the one I am using for an example of an analogous color scheme. This is a picture I took of a tropical bird and I zoomed in on it's feathers to show the colors. It's a little blurry due to cropping and trying to zoom in but I think you can see enough to understand what I am trying to show.

  1. I'm really sorry I'm not sure why this blog posted the way it did. It looked fine in the preview but when it posted it came out like this!! I tried to fix it but I couldn't get it to change. SORRY!

  2. I really like the birds feathers the blue to blue green is such a beautiful color change. I was originally going to use leaves for my analogous picture but I do not think the color scale would stand up to the colors of the birds feathers.

  3. Even though you said that you weren't sure about this assignment, I think that you got it. Both pictures are great examples of your chosen color schemes. I especially like the bird feathers.

  4. Cool photos! Never would have guess that those were birds feathers! Looks more like the petals on a flower....what a beautiful color! Great job!
